A standard in orthodontic treatment, this appliance utilizes a jackscrew welded to a steel framework to implement transverse expansion and arch development. A variety of banding options, framework designs, and screw types can be used to create an appliance design that best meets treatment needs. Select screws also available on the lower arch.  This appliance is an excellent choice for patients needing transverse expansion or those with significant crowding who would benefit from extra space created by arch development.
