HAAS
The HAAS appliance utilizes the same jackscrew mechanisms as a traditional Rapid Palatal Expander (RPE), but it is paired with a substantial acrylic pad along the palate. The pad is split to allow for transverse expansion, and it may offer additional support for posterior teeth throughout the expansion process. The appliance is available on the upper arch.
